The Enroute team wanted to build an app for their community to discover, create, and join events.
We translated the core principles of the brand, pushing limits, stretching, and reacting under pressure, directly into the UI. Interfaces expand, compress, and respond to input, turning performance into a visual and interactive experience rather than static screens.
The initial scope focused on a mobile app, but we quickly saw an opportunity to go further. Many athletes prefer to train without carrying a phone, so we designed a watch app as well. The goal was to enable full participation with minimal friction, allowing users to explore and join events directly from their wrist.
The mobile app is built around community and performance. Users can explore a feed of activities with detailed metadata such as type, location, duration, distance, and pace. They can create their own activities, design routes, chat with organizers, and track their standing through leaderboards.
The watch app focuses on essential features while remaining fully functional. Designed in dark mode to preserve battery, it allows users to browse and join events, as well as communicate with organizers using native voice and messaging. The final layer is Night Mode, where the interface shifts to red for better visibility and reduced distraction.
